Dear Al,

Thank you for your assistance with purchase of the Toyota Porte. The car is excellent and has changed our way of life and we are grateful to you for making it available.

Neil is now 90 and quote unable to walk or stand. Previously we took wheelchair taxis for short distances. Although the drivers were helpful, the taxis were not ideal as they were unstable for the wheelchair and uncomfortable. He was placed too high to be able to see out of the windows. Also there were often long waits in cold places for the taxis to arrive.

Now we are independent and can travel. Our first stay was overnight in Penrith with a wonderful breakfast at the Regatta Kitchen by the river. You cannot imagine what this means to a man who has been housebound for almost a year. We have also had shorter outings around Sydney to visit his old haunts and old friends.

Many people show interest in the car and the wheelchair mechanism and ask for demonstrations. I am sure that there would be a market for this and other similar models.
